Fleetworthy and Lytx Merge Coaching Into One View

A Portal-Switching Problem Fleet Managers Know Too Well

If you run both Fleetworthy Safety+ and Lytx cameras, you know the drill. A safety event triggers. You pull up the Safety+ dashboard to review the behavior data, then switch to the Lytx portal to find the corresponding video, then try to hold both in your head long enough to have a meaningful coaching conversation with the driver. That workflow ends now.

On June 11, 2026, Fleetworthy announced a new integration with Lytx that embeds time-specific video snapshots directly inside Safety+ Map View. Fleet managers can now see visual event evidence and driver behavior data — including speeding incidents and adverse weather driving — in a single interface without leaving the Fleetworthy platform.

What the Integration Actually Does

The new capability surfaces Lytx video snapshots at the exact point of coaching review inside Safety+ Map View. Instead of cross-referencing two separate portals to piece together what happened, safety managers now get the full picture in one place. That means faster incident review, more context going into each coaching session, and better conversations with drivers.

Martin Murtland, VP of Product at Fleetworthy, put the problem plainly in the announcement: fleet safety depends on having the full picture, and until now that meant jumping between systems during critical coaching moments. The integration, he said, is part of a broader vision to connect data across the fleet experience so safety teams can make smarter decisions.

Dave Cassie, VP of Channel Sales at Lytx, added that giving fleet managers and drivers instant access to visual context during coaching sessions helps teams review events quickly, foster more effective communication, and ultimately improve safety outcomes across the fleet.

Who Gets Access and What It Costs

The integration is available at no additional cost to current Safety+ subscribers who already use Lytx cameras. Importantly, the feature is available upon request, so existing subscribers will need to reach out to activate it rather than finding it automatically in their dashboard. Fleets currently on Fleetworthy Foundations — formerly known as Drivewyze Free — can upgrade to Safety+ to access the integrated coaching workflow.

For fleets that have been running both platforms separately, this is a meaningful quality-of-life improvement that costs nothing to enable. The ability to coach with video evidence in the same interface where the risk data lives removes a real friction point from the safety workflow.

Why This Matters for Fleet Safety Programs

The coaching moment is where safety programs either stick or don’t. When a manager can show a driver exactly what the video shows alongside the behavioral scoring data, the conversation becomes concrete instead of abstract. That specificity drives behavior change faster than a score on a report ever will. As fleet safety technology continues to evolve toward consolidated, connected platforms, integrations like this one reflect where the industry is heading — less toggling between tools, more time spent on the work that actually reduces risk.
