This new tool is designed to solve a major headache for fleet managers: losing track of equipment that doesn’t have its own power source. Whether it is a storage container, a seasonal trailer, or specialized job site equipment, TrackRR Lite ensures you always know exactly where your assets are located.

A Simple Solution for Non-Powered Assets

Most high-end tracking systems require a connection to a truck’s engine or battery to work. However, many valuable assets—like flatbed trailers or shipping containers—often sit idle for days or weeks without power.

TrackRR Lite was built specifically for these “unpowered” items. It is a self-contained unit that does not need any wiring. Because it runs on its own internal battery, it is perfect for equipment that operates independently or is used only once in a while. Trucking equipment has to survive rain, mud, and extreme vibrations. TrackRR Lite is built with a rugged, weather-sealed housing. It has earned IP67 and IP69K ratings, which means it is completely dust-tight and can even survive a high-pressure hot water wash at a truck wash station.

Installation is incredibly fast. You can mount it using heavy-duty VHB tape (a “peel-and-stick” method) or use standard hardware like bolts for a more permanent fit. Since there is no wiring, most fleets can install the device in just a few minutes per asset.
