Isuzu Commercial Truck of America, Inc., recently celebrated the best of the best from its national dealer network at the annual “Week of Weeks” competitions. Over 800 participants from across the country competed in their respective fields to qualify, but only a select few were invited to the finals held at Isuzu’s Center of Excellence in Pittston, Pennsylvania. This event showcased the outstanding talent and dedication of Isuzu’s sales, service, parts, and technical teams.

Shaun C. Skinner, president of Isuzu Commercial Truck of America, Inc., praised the competitors, stating, “It speaks volumes of the talent our Isuzu dealers have recruited and trained to get to this level.” The competition is not only a challenging test of skill, but also a celebration of hard work and commitment to the Isuzu brand.

The competitions included:

  • National Sales Walkaround Competition: Participants demonstrated their sales expertise with a mock presentation of a 2025 Isuzu FVR to a first-time customer. William Little of Truckworx in Birmingham, Alabama, was crowned the champion.
  • National Service Walkaround Competition: Contestants had just 10 minutes to diagnose and communicate service needs on a 2022 Isuzu NRR to a customer. William (Will) Little, also from Truckworx, took home the first-place prize.
  • National Parts Product Presentation Competition: This event challenged parts associates to assist a customer in a realistic dealership setting, demonstrating their product knowledge and resources. Shaela Medley from Pierre Isuzu Truck of Everett in Everett, Washington, was the winner.
  • North America I-1 Grand Prix Technical Competition: The most demanding of all, this competition required technicians to pass a rigorous exam and then diagnose and repair trucks under intense scrutiny. Micael Lechasseur of Pare Isuzu Truck in Quebec City, Quebec, won first place and earned an invitation to the global competition.

Champions from the sales, service, and parts competitions will enjoy a trip to Prague and Vienna, while the top technical competitors will travel to the 20th Isuzu World Technical Competition. These events highlight Isuzu’s commitment to excellence and the exceptional people who represent the brand.
